Okay, after 24 hours I'm going to start with Human Compatible (Russell) and Humankind (Bregman) and will aim to host a Substack Chat about these in the last week of the year. I'll be reading the other three in the next 2-3 months as well, so if the Substack Chat goes well, we can do more of them!
You had me at Thomas Sowell. One of the greatest thinkers of our time. “Humankind…” comes in second.

I have Humankind on my Kindle but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'd love to know what you think after you read it!

I think this is a great idea! I would be up for reading with you. Stewart Russell’s book or Thomas Sowell’s books sound the most interesting to me.
